When I used to go to a tattoo parlor, I saw Japanese Symbols on the wall for people to pick as tattoo designs. Sadly, many had incorrect spelling and/or meaning on the list.
I also have seen several tattoos that did not make sense as a sentence. For Example, I saw a guy with a Tattoo of the word 牛 (Cow) on his arm. When I asked him what his Tattoo was supposed to say, he replied with (Bull) 闘牛. As you know, There’s a big difference between a Cow and a Bull.
