Karaage (Japanese boneless fried chicken
Juicy and delicious
Ingredients
- 0.5 Lbs. Boneless Chicken Thigh
- 1 Grated Garlic
- 1 Grated Ginger
- 2 Tbsp Sake Wine
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Egg
- 2 Cups Frying oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Potato Starch
Notes
Cut the chicken into large bite-sized pieces.
Rub in the seasonings marked well and leave for about 30 minutes. (refrigerated)
Next, add the beaten eggs and mix well.
Let it sit for about 30 minutes. (If you don’t have time, go to 3 immediately.)
Add flour and potato starch to the Egg mixture.
If you want a crispy finish, combine the ingredients in a bowl, add the drained chicken and toss to coat.
Fry in medium-hot oil.
Take it out while it is still a little brown, and leave it aside for 2 to 3 minutes.
Increase oil to high temperature. fry for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
